Spring has sprung! Positive month-over-month numbers are encouraging as we head into April. Here is a brief overview of some real estate market stats for March of 2023 in Edmonton.
March 2023
Home Prices
Home prices in Edmonton reached $369,000, and although that is nearly 11% less than 2022, prices increased by 5% compared to February of 2023.
Sales and Inventory
Sales decreased by 45% compared to 2022, coming in at 1,266. Inventory for the month reached 4,528, which is nearly 9% more than the previous year.
Conclusion
Although we saw dips in year-over-year prices in both home prices and sales, we can be encouraged by the month-over-month home prices and year-over-year inventory numbers!
