December home prices in Calgary increased by 10% in both month-over-month and year-over-year numbers.
What is a benchmark price? The benchmark price is the estimated value of a “typical” home in a community, based on the most popular combination of features, e.g. age, size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
Sales and Inventory
Sales reached 1,366 for the month, which is nearly 14% more than in 2022. Inventory decreased by 2.5% compared to last year, coming in at 2,164 for December 2023.
