January home prices in Calgary increased by 10% compared to 2023 and by 0.3% compared to December.
What is a benchmark price? The benchmark price is the estimated value of a “typical” home in a community, based on the most popular combination of features, e.g. age, size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
Sales and Inventory
Sales reached 1,650 for the month, which is about 38% more than in 2023. Inventory for the month decreased by just over 12% compared to last year, reaching 2,150 for January 2024.
